At My Care Matters, caregiving is more than a service—it is an act of compassion, connection, and commitment. We aim to enhance the lives of seniors and families throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Recognizing this dedication, we place a high value on recognizing employees for their contributions. This allows us to honor our team’s hard work and commitment.
This year’s Appreciation Day celebration was held on November 21st at 6:00 PM at Cactus Club Cafe in Burnaby. It offered a meaningful opportunity for employee recognition, allowing us to recognize caregivers and office staff. They continue to make our mission possible. Their dedication is the foundation of the trust, comfort, and exceptional care we strive to provide every day.

A total of 18 team members confirmed their attendance, and 16 MCM team members were able to join the celebration in person. Each attending team received a special gift as a heartfelt thank-you. To ensure everyone felt appreciated, we prepared raffle gifts for the two team members who confirmed but did not attend. Personalized recognition certificates were provided to all. Former team members who left a positive impact were also honored. This reaffirmed that they remain valued members of the MCM family. After distributing the gifts, we continued the fun with a second round of raffles. During this round, team members had the chance to swap someone’s gift or keep their own—bringing lots of laughter and excitement to the evening.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our entire care team across Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, and the broader Lower Mainland. Your dedication transforms lives, uplifts families, and brings comfort and companionship to seniors who rely on your support. Thank you for the way you demonstrate employee recognition through your actions—your compassion continues to make a lasting difference, and we are proud to celebrate each and every one of you.
